Submit: Organize all required assets into 1 document and the submission is sent off.
Wait: Timeline ranges from 1 day to 1 month until we know if it's approved or denied.

Verification happens through what is called a ‘portal.’ These portals are approved media agencies by Meta to deliver blue checks/badges.
Portals come and go. Facebook can cut and grant access to them. You may hear that a friend was verified in a week, while another was verified in a day. Or that a friend got verified with 1K followers, while another had many other requirements needed before he was able to get verified.
Who these portals verify reflects on them in the end, the lower the quality of the outlets they verify, the more likely they will lose access to verify accounts.

Additionally, there are certain requirements that some portals have.
There are several 'portal' contacts we are in touch with. Some come at a lower cost than others.
Instagram: Around 4-10K Instagram followers.
Spotify: 5+ songs on your Spotify An Spotify account with history/age.
Recent press: Newer press articles (Bet ween 6-12 months old).
Verified press articles: The press outlet's Facebook or Instagram is verified.
Bots: Account must have a low percentage of bot followers, none at all is most ideal.
Google: Artist has a 'Google Knowledge Panel' when their name is searched.
Misc: Sometimes there a new requirements that can be requested for the first time.
Keep in mind: This list gives an idea of requirements that some portals require, don't be overwelmed that you made need to meet all of these requirements.

Press: Press articles.
ID: Front and back of driver license.
